Ray - Owner:
Ray's love for cars began as a teenager. He decided then to pursue professional training and education in Automotive Technology. Since then, he has owned and managed several shops throughout the San Francisco Bay Area over the past 20 years. Ray opened R & I Automotive in San Rafael in 2006, which has continued to grow as a successful family-owned business. He is dedicated to his customers, and values offering his community high-quality services with integrity and personal attention.
Jason - Service Manager:
Jason has been an automotive technician since 2002. He is ASE certified and has a strong passion for both mechanical and operational aspects of the industry. He grew up on a dairy farm in Sebastopol which taught him to work hard and pursue his ambitions. Jason is happily married to his wife Elizabeth who is an accomplished dog trainer here in Marin. In his free time he likes nature hikes and to go target shooting with his friends.
Adrienne - Office Assistant:
Adrienne moved to Terra Linda in 1979. She worked in her family coffee business for a number of years. She started in automotive service as an assistant and later moved into an accounting and bookkeeping role. Today, most of her time is spent helping take care of her grandson. She still enjoys working part time at R & I and continues to be a valued member of the team.
Arthur - Master Technician:
Arthur is a proud husband and father of two from Santa Rosa. He started working on cars as a child, doing oil changes on the family vehicles (he was the only one who could fit under the cars to drain them). He started his apprenticeship in Petaluma in 2011 and has since then become ASE certified. He has brought considerable knowledge and expertise to the valued customers and team of R & I Automotive. He is fearless with all machines, welcoming any repair challenge with confidence and determination. In his free time, he enjoys studying languages, reading sci-fi books, and taking care of his toddler son and newborn daughter.
Josh - Technician:
Josh is a Bay Area native and recently moved to Tiburon. He has been involved in the automotive industry for over 20 years. He enjoys riding his bike, playing video games and is an avid fitness enthusiast. He continues to love auto repair and takes great pride in working hard and providing outstanding service to our shop and our customers.
Elvin - Technician:
Elvin has always had a curiosity of learning about all things mechanical. From an early age, he and his dad would take apart bicycles and rebuild them. His interest grew from there and he started working on family cars. In 2017 he began a career in the automotive industry. He truly loves to learn and grow and accepts new challenges with enthusiasm. He is a great team player and a loving husband.
