4Runner is a rugged vehicle, though some model models of the 4Runner had a few issues – 2003 4Runner had occasional problems with frozen brake calipers, while the 2004 model was prone to head gasket leaks,. But overall, Toyota 4Runner maintains its reputation for dependability.
